Do you happen to have a link for that? I have the same camper as the Op and the same Equa-Flex suspension.

If you do the warranty on the frame is void.
It's obvious that the op pulls a trailer behind his 5th wheel therefor warranty void.
Just stating facts.

Like I said this is not a warranty issue it is a safety issue, can you say categorically that "if this unit pulled anything behind it that that was the cause of the frames failure".
I must have missed the OP stating that he pulled anything, but, he has been missing from this conversation.

The problem in this particular incident was self inflicted by OP attaching to the rear of the frame, which knowingly overloads the entire rig. Don't see any liability by anyone other than the OP. JMHO

Someone posted on the forum that they had it and posted pictures. Suggest contacting Lippert.

I don't disagree but I would not bet the house on him loosing, like I said they would have to prove that his negligence was the direct cause of this failure and you have pointed out yourself that this is a weak point because of the stress put on the frame.
Think I'll change my name to "devils advocate".

So, if I understand you, correctly, if I alter a frame even tho' I am warned/cautioned not to, and it later fails I should be able to report it to NHTSA? So, I can now alter the engine in my truck and if it blows up, I can go to NHTSA and report GM! COOL!

Hey Turbs, if your raising the front of your truck and re-tuning the engine blows up in your face, just report GM to NHTSA and let them go after GM. Neat!

Now you are getting off subject, "National Highway Traffic Safety Administration" the key word being SAFETY but addressing the issue what you do to it has to be proven to have caused the failure. Has the OP said he towed anything with this unit? I see a picture on an earlier post but it was not posted by the OP, or did I miss one of him stating he did this.
