Black tank flush

I'm wondering if someone could explain to me how to winterize the black tank flush

I have a 2013 Palomino fifth wheel 36 five

X2 what Turbs said, but if you are concerned you could run a little very low pressure air thru it with the dump valve open

Why would the dump valve have to be open. The tank is vented. There is no residual water left in the cleanout system. Water drains from both sides of the backflow preventer when input is removed.

Low pressure air means different things to different folks and the valve open ensures no sudden expansion of the tank and is my CYA

I think the rationale to opening the valve is to drain any water that might come out of the tank flush line. Even if it were closed I don't think that much water would come out of the line that it would affect the strength of the antifreeze dumped into the tank.

Here is a pic of what mine looks like after the connection port. Sorry it tilts to the left. The bottom of the pic is the right side. Mine has an elbow where the backflow preventer would normally be but the previous owner removed it so I use an external one.

As you can see, it's installed so that no water is retained. Water drains away from the backflow preventer on both sides - back out the inlet port and down to the flusher head. It wouldn't hurt anything to use low pressure air (under 30 psi) to blow it out.
