I have one spot just like yours on our new 385BH at the front of our bedroom slide and the dealer said they called the factory and was told to put a relief cut in the outer panel and even sent them the strip to cover the cut.

You are going to have to give them a shot at fixing it. I know you feel like you deserve new one which I felt the same way when I was going through the same thing with a side wall replacement. They did make it right in the end for us and we are happy with the repair. The repair to replace a side wall is not that complicated. I watched it personally and it took about 3 hours from start to finish. Stand your ground and be firm and they will make it right.

I just hope I get it back before June as I got all my RV travel plans lined out. I also hope its a good fix will have no further problems. I can;t believe I bought it this way. Should have asked , but I thought it was normal and just slight cosmetics. It is what it is so no use getting mad.

Make sure your contact person at the plant knows your travel plans. Our guy at Sabre was aware of ours and made it happen.

Hmmm.... Received my 2014 340RK back from the dealer about 1 1/2 weeks ago. They had it since thanksgiving. For the most part everything that I specified to be fixed was. Took it out for 4 nights and was just putting it back away and noticed this bump under the middle of my bedroom slide. Looks very similar to the pics posted above. Also noticed that it looks like there has already been a stress relief cut below the front corner of that slide like was mentioned as well. Guess it will be making a trip to the dealer tomorrow.

Tonight I saw this dreaded bulge under the middle of my bedroom slide. It looks like a relief cut had already been done to the front corner of my bedroom slide. In the above post is the picture with the strip covering the cut.
