"Also noticed that it looks like there has already been a stress relief cut below the front corner of that slide like was mentioned as well. Guess it will be making a trip to the dealer tomorrow."
Mine came with that relief cut, and through my research I read that is typical join now purposely put on most 5ers. Mine bulges on both side but the front bulge is larger. I read if you knock it and its hard
, and does not flex this is an intrusive swell not a delamination from water or manufacture defect. The force pushing from inside frame may be due to frictional force of the bedroom slide. Something else may be amuck. If its not bad, and due to road aging it could be left alone. But mine was brand spanking new. By the way, I took a trip to the Houston RV show last week and closely looked at a 340RK and other models by Columbus as well as other brands. Only on the 340RK did I see the slightest bulge. You had to really look close but you could barely see the raised area in the same two spots as my rig.
My Rig made it to the Plant 1400 miles. He did it in 30 hours, and he even stayed over night in Arkansas .
