Bumper storage rack on 30rkss

I have ordered a new puma 30rkss and I was wondering how strong is the back bumper? I want to install aluminum rack by using an rv bumper hitch. The only thing I plan on putting in it is a Yamaha generator and two fuel cans. So weight would be 250 lbs max. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?

First off WELCOME, you will find a lot of info and GREAT people here. I don't think your going to find many folks touch this with a 10 ft pole. The reason why is that most TT frames and rear bumpers are not made to carry that much weight. When I had my Flagstaff TT there was a statement in the owners manual that read " anything attached to the bumper will void the warranty. IMO I wouldn't do it. The other thing to consider is that much weight added that far aft of the axle is going to lower the tounge weight and may affect the balance and how the TT tows. Maybe someone that has the same tt will chime in. Good Luck

You should have been able to order a factory rack for the back of your trailer. Ours has it and it holds I think a max of 250. Sorry, no pics.
We've not used it yet but now that my youngest is on a two wheeler we'll be using it for bikes this summer.

more info in this recent thread Bikes on Grey Wolf rear rack, maybe??
