With the assistance of Vern (fellow Forum member) we have our trip to the UP in Michigan and lower portion of the state all planned and reserved. We have 29 nights booked so far and we still have several months of the season we can't reserve into yet.

Come on spring! And the RV show coming to town in mid-January!
Welcome to our state. You'll love the U.P.
Where did you book your camp at?If it was Muskallonge-be ready to be remote.
No TV and only 1 radio station. We like that place.

Hey Boss, we are really looking forward to this trip. We are going to spend 4 nights at Porcupine Mountains State Park, then move over for 3 nights at Wilderness State Park and finally meet up with fellow forum member, Vern, at Harrisville State Park for 3 more nights. I know we are only staying in one campground in the U.P. but we will make some day trips and then drive all the way across toward Mackinaw in order to get to Wilderness.

Randy, you should try to save half a day or so and visit the locks at Sault Ste Marie. Also, east of Munising is Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There is camping at Munising or Pictured Rocks if you have the time. It's beautiful country. You will have a good time.

Old Car, I'm disappointed you didn't come up to the Keweenaw Peninsula in the U.P. of Michigan and visit a Yooper friend. We could of showed you the high points of the area. We even have family cottage on Lake Superior where we camp out in the summer.
But at the end of January we are heading toward Arizona to find some camping for a few months. First time down that way so let the adventure begin.

Check out lo lo Mai rv park near Sedona- just stayed there over thanksgiving and loved the creek side spot. Lake Havasu city should be fairly warm and crazy horse rv can put you within 50 of the lake. If you head up Vegas way, Willow Beach is on the Colorado River about 15 minutes from Hoover Dam. It is our winter spot and will be there with some other FROG members in a few weekends. Just some help 😄

Thanks for your tips for the area. We started out looking at Texas but it looked liked cooler weather and changed our mind. We decided that 60-70 degree weather is what we wanted this year. I saw Mesa had a lot of RVing that way and got our attention. We are planning 2-3 months out somewhere so let the fun begin.
