Columbus 320RS hitch height

I'm going to be setting up my hitch when it comes in. In looking at the instructions, I need to know the height from the ground to the bottom of the hitch / pin box plate, and then from the ground to the underside of the trailer (for bed clearance). Would some one that has one measure these two for me please?

I'll confirm with the dealer in several weeks when my unit is actually received by them, but, would like to get a head start.

Is this info something I could call and ask the factory about?

Perhaps your dealer adjusted your hitch. My hitch has one of four positions for height adjustment, and to determine which one to use , I need the two height measurements. I'd prefer to do the now then wait for the dealer to do it, if possible.

I guess the dealer doesn't have another one on the lot?
Any Columbus should do.

I just measured my Truck and the top of the 5th wheel plate is about 51" off the ground and i have (guessing) about 8 to 10 inches clearence with the back corners of the box to the bottom of the Camper. Hope that helps...
oh, want more info, join us on Facebook- Columbus Owners Group and ask and you WILL get more answers.

This should be true, but, I'd prefer it from a user. A user answers because they want to help, and will take the time to do it correctly. The dealer wants to make a sale, and anything not directly making them money is a waste of time; they may do it for you, but, they may rush it.
