Columbus 340RK Hooking up Dish Tailgater

I am trying for the first time to connect a King Tailgater to a Wally receiver through the RV wiring. Hooked up the Tailgater to the Satellite Coax in port in the utilities box. Next connected the Wally box to the Satellite Coax outlet behind the living room receiver. Then connected the Wally HDMI to the TV, powered on the Wally and tried setting up. The Satellite tailgater could not be detected. What do I need to do, or am doing wrong. Anyone with advise for me.

Thanks

There may be a splitter in the line. The Dish installer (who has a RV) told me to run the line from the tailgater directly to the receiver (even running it through an open window). Instead, I added an input connector under the original connectors that came with the TT. (ie, I drilled a hole for the connector). I then connected on the inside of that connector directly to the receiver.

By the way, I again tested it this morning and it worked perfectly.
