Well, I can't say what's going on with the "friend" - but, I can tell you we were camping two weeks ago and it rained constantly the entire weekend...wind blew, and we didn't have a single drop of water inside the trailer and I didn't notice any noise from our slide awnings.

Then...we get home, and earlier this week we had 45 to 55 mph winds and driving rains with a total of over 5 inches (we're in North Texas just west of Fort Worth if you want to verify that with the weather service). Again...no water ANYWHERE inside of the trailer.

I agree with the others...your "friend" needs to get back to the dealership and get the factory rep involved. We've been Forest River customers for years and have ALWAYS found them 100% receptive and helpful.

Love our 320RS...and proud to still be in the Forest River family.

That's cool and hope all works well, But as we speak the unit is in shop. I can't speak for him but told him to get factory rep involved as soon as possible, because I would be doing the same. Good luck and enjoy. I think he has a bad unit and bad dealer, and don't know how to say he the right thing to the dealer ship.

Whitebb,
With all due respect, I believe this is an issue between your "friend", the dealership and Forest River/ Columbus Division. For you to expect an email from the factory rep who posts here as a courtesy (Remember, this is an owners' forum, with no responsibility whatsoever from the manufacturer) about a "friend's issue" is very presumptuous. Your "friend" should be the one to make the contact.
In fact, I, personally (nor, I believe, any other owner on this forum) would expect a third party to resolve these issues.
I believe C. Columbus was out at a show this weekend.
Unless you have been given legal authority to resolve this issue, the owner of this unit would be best served to make contact.
All Columbus owners and soon to be owners, I'm sure appreciate information regarding any issues. I have been to the factory as has another forum member, Mustang, and can assure all that it is a very dedicated management and crew that are building the Columbus units.

Even with the issues we had with ours, We still love our Columbus.
Couldn't have been more impressed when the dealer sent someone
to our home to repair all our issues.
