Columbus with issues

We purchased our RV new from a local dealer and have nothing but issues with it since the beginning the quality I would question. Palomino's web site talks about pride in workmanship etc...not impressed with ours. We've had it for less than a year and...
Refrigerator would not run on propane had to order parts, also had 3 leaks.
After picking it up took a trip and used the washer and it flooded the front the connections were not tight. I fixed that...do they actually test these or even bother to tighten them at the factory?
Back from trip black tank a crack flooded the bottom belly with black water was without it for 4 weeks while it was fixed.
Then more water leaks I finally opened the belly and tightened all the fittings. You would think I was out of the woods and finally enjoy my $51,700 RV nope now?
Sitting at the camp site last night for family time and noticed a leak under the camper, gray water flooded the belly had to cut a hole so I could drain out the gray water to take it back to the dealer. I could name all the little things but after sewage, water leaks, no fridge, no cable connections working, and a gray water leak why bother. NOT Impressed with the quality of this 2013 model.
I asked the dealer to contact Forest River and they responded "They won't listen to us". WOW! So glad I sunk my hard earned money into this unit. Steer clear of Palomino's and second guess Forest River as a whole.

do not have nor never had a palomino but have had 4 FR products and I would doubt your dealer, FR does listen to them, if not they would have never fixed my problem children. Yes FR does suffer from poor QC, no matter what others may say, the fact is they push them out to meet dealer orders and let the dealers fix them, the bad part of that is the dealers generally do not do an adequate PDI and just wait for the warranty issues to surface. most of your issues should have been corrected prior to delivery, remember they are delivered to the dealer by a 3rd party who really does not care how they tow them, as long as there is no apparent damage they get paid, I assure you many did not leave the factory in the condition they arrived at the dealer . Good luck

That does not sound like Columbus or Forest River. Maybe you should contact Cel Lopez directly at Columbus. My dealer is the worst in the United States so I have been dealing with Columbus directly for all of my issues including black tank splitting, Columbus has bent over backwards to make sure we are satisfied with all of the repairs. Most of mine were done in a 1 day visit down to the factory. In our Columbus owners group there is currently 3 people that have had their units picked up and taken to the factory for repairs. Click on the link below if you want to find out more info.

When I was down at the factory they said that they have switched tank manufacturers now because ones were splitting. Mine was made in Aug 2012 and it had one from the old supplier!

I have a Puma by Palomino and the build quality of it is great. I've been in every nook and cranny doing modifications and it is a much better built camper than the 03 Thor I had. I hate to hear of your problems and hope you get them fixed. Like others have said, bypass your dealer and go straight to the manufacturer.

I did hear from the factory offering help, currently the dealer has leaking tank out awaiting a new one to arrive seems from some research they had gotten a bad batch of tanks? Hopefully this is the end of the issues and the kinks are worked out...

Been there Done that. I talked to Cel And Gary Grigsby and am STILL waiting just to hear IF they will extend the second year warranty (past the 10 days) to me as they have others. Sent check, sent e-mails w/ vin #s, made calls etc.....
I'm scheduled to go in for service on Oct. 7th. Hope my dealer does better. I sent him pics of problem areas and he said he was going to order as many parts as possible ahead of time. I'll let you know how I make out w/ dealer.

That second year warranty is from forest river, not Columbus!!! Contact forest river, or just fill out the form and write Columbus in and enclose a check for 150.00. they will either cash it or return it!!

I understand that. Columbus is a Forrest River product. I DID send the form and a check. How long do figure is a reasonable amount of time to say yes or no to what seems to be a common request.

Sorry to hear of all your issues but, Our 320rs has been by far, the most trouble free RV the wife and I have ever owned and this is RV # 6! Sounds like your dealer is giving you the short end of the stick because with my other Forest River RV,s, they have always been there to make good any issues that we have ever had on any of our previous TT,s. Just a suggestion but, maybe you should contact the above listed people from FR and try and deal with them direct to get your RV repaired properly. Best of luck!
