Like one poster said...you can always try another dealer. I have heard some horror stories but also heard of people buying in the US and get great treatment from the Canadian dealer. In that case, probably a smart one who wants to work at the chance of possibly getting your business next time around.
My wife's car was purchased in the US and when I contacted a local dealer back home to install a block heater, he quoted me a ridiculous price, to which I asked if he was serious. He told me thats what you get for buying in the US. I promptly said...Is that right? This car will require regular maintenance, oil changes, possibly warranty work, but I sure wont be coming here for it.
The next dealer I went to rolled out the red carpet, and told me that they didnt get to sell me the car but sure hoped they could earn the service business...needless to say, thats where I bring it.
