I would certainly recommend a slider!!! The Pull Rite is a great hitch, and my Reese 16K slider is good also.

The issue is more than just at the corners of your truck cab: a slider will also provide you with more clearance over the rear top 'corners' of your truck box for those times when you're on the up&down bumps you sometimes encounter going into or out of some of the more rustic camps and parks.
