Domestic thermostat E1 message

My 2 zone Dometic thermostat started flashing the E1 message. A few seconds later it went off and will not turn back on. Any ideas?

Believe E1 message is poor connection to power source. If you lost power to thermostat check connection in a/c housing. Should show details in Dometic manual.
