Electrical Outlets not working

We have just set up our 2011 Sabre Palomino 31ckts and the outlet on each side of stove on wall and the plug in for fridge is not working. All other lights and outlets work fine. We called previous owner and he had no problems. Any help would be appreciated as this is our 1st set up with this 5th wheel. Thanks

Check to be sure a GFI outlet has not tripped. Also check the box for a tripped breaker.

Thanks for quick reply. We did do reset in bathroom on GFI outlet and that one is working fine and did not help and also checked breakers. They all seem to be on the one side and seems to be something related. Not sure if there are any other GFI outlets anywhere outside , will have to check that also. Thanks

Make sure you check very thoroughly. I've read stories of people with similair problems and it turns out to be a GCFI outlet they didn't even realize they had. A lot of times they are tucked under the dinette or something like that.

As you eluded to, they can also be outside. Even the fridge sometimes has one that can control other outlets inside the RV.

... plus sometimes a breaker will not look like it's tripped but it is. I think one should turn off the suspected breaker and turn it back on.

Are these outlets next to the stove and the refrigerator outlet in a common slide out?

Many slides have wires and hoses that extend/retract on arms mounted below the slide.
Many here have reported the plastic arms breaking leaving the wires/hoses dangling.
It is possible the feed wiring is damaged going to those items.

You are so correct about that. I always turn them off even if they don't look tripped. I've been doing it for so long that it's just second nature to me. I don't even think about it, I just flip them off and back on. You also get a feel for the breaker operation like that too. I've found many bad breakers just by the way they feel when tripping and resetting them.

I would also check the wiring. The knife blades on your typical RV outlet are very unreliable IMO as they don't always fully penetrate the insulation and can lose contact due to vibration. I rewired our TT with standard outlets and haven't had a problem since then.

Thanks will check all again and flip breaker. It does happen to be on a slide as well. Is there another way to check GFI outlets that do not have a tester on outside?

'GFI protected' receptacles that don't have the test or reset buttons are protected by being tied to the load side of one that does have the buttons or a GFI breaker.

There may be more than one GFI receptacle around the RV somewhere.
