Just use our new columbus for the second outing and cant get sound bars for bedroom or living room to work thru tv or dvd.Only plays music thru radio stations,went thru all steps in book and no help.These or connet units i did notice the bedroom only has a optical cable from tv to sound bar,will that let audio come thru it.Any help would be appreciated,the people at not so fun town dont have a clue

I heard you have to turn on the TV using the DVD remote not the TV remote. But this is for the surround sound not sure about sound bars.
The living room tv menu for sound has option for auto or tv audio only, we had to switch it there. Haven't used the bedroom one yet but I suspect its same way.
