Free Standing Dinette

I'm planning on removing the 4 sq drive screws that hold the Free Standing Dinette table in place for an up comming trip to make easier access for extra people that we are expecting.

So I'm now wondering if I even need to re-install the screws for travel? The four chairs strap to the floor around the table base in a "criss-cross" fashion so I don't think that table will go anywhere and we always pad the chair legs and table base.

Anyone out there doing something like this??

I've thought about doing the same, except screw it back down a little further from the wall. My chairs secure to the table with wood holders.
