Fridge Cooling
I have been reading all the recent posts about fridge cooling on this site. I decided to look at mine before heading to storage. When I popped off the top vent cover I had that piece of wood to direct airflow and a small muffin fan. My fridge is in a slide and I have slide toppers. I do not have time to install some fans before I go out in a couple of weeks. There was a rather thin piece of insulation just laying over the top and down the sides of the fridge. I would say there was 6 inches of open space above the insulation to the top of the slide. I stuffed some insulation I had from construction on the top (Now there is no air space) and along the sides. My thinking is air flow should be drawn up and out the vent so stuffing the insulation should not hurt anything.
Anyone see any issues with this?
Thanks
