Front A/C ducted on Columbus?

I know this has been discussed here before but I can't seem to find it. I have been going back and forth with the factory about the front A/C apparently not being ducted. When I close the dump vent I can BARELY feel anything coming out of the vents in the bedroom.
Is the front A/C supposed to be ducted to the vents and if so, how much airflow are you getting out of them. It is so much louder with the dump open than closed and there is no airflow when closed.

Any help would be appreciated.

The front a/c is not ducted. The duct work is only supplied with air from the rear a/c.

I pulled it apart today and it actually IS ducted. I guess the airflow just blows right by the vents in the bathroom. I hate it because it is so loud with he dump open. Maybe I can figure out a better way.

I only have the living room AC in my 320RS. No bedroom AC. Bedroom is ducted along with kitchen and bathroom. Barely any air feeling coming out of bedroom ducts. But when AC unit louver is closed, the entire RV does cool down. Leave the louver open, and living room cools down fast, but bathroom and bedroom are hot. The 320RS is a smaller simpler RV compared to your 385BH

Search "things that make you go hummmm" on the forums. There are pictures of what to look for. We opened ours and found the openings blocked with the liver tape, cut them open like in the pictures and now can close the dump and get air thru the ceiling vents. We o have an a/c in the bedroom too. Maybe that is your problem. Good luck.

Mine is actually as open as it can get. It looks as if it was installed correctly.

We have a/c in bedroom. It is ducted and have never had to even open the dump. Since we got the grommets put on the a/c for the noise it sounds much better. It cools fine and we have good airflow coming through the vents. It usually gets too cold. We end up just using the front a/c most nights. We have been in high humidity high temps 100 +.

Since it looks open I would take off the round vent covers and check them with a mirror and make sure there I oohing blocking them - might be small pieces f styrofoam in there.

Do you have a pic of the grommets you installed on the A/C? That sounds like a good idea. Thanks

Its a dealer fix. I believe they are doing it on the new models now.

Dude both AC are ducted together,and yes i know the front is loud but i only use it to boost the cooling on hot days. What i do is set the front one a few degrees higher then the rear one so it only runs when the rear one can't keep up with the heat gain,but at night the rear is plenty and you can't even hear it.
