With their story- don't they chock the wheels? Wouldn't that have prevented any fore/aft movement and subsequent lateral pressure on the landing gear?

I have never seen any wheels chocked at the dealers around here, the would have to buy 150 sets of chocks, I do not think that they would want the overhead, and then you would have the lot people remember to remove them before moving the campers!!!!

They wouldn't stay long....our dealer even had all the 30A electric pigtails cut off the older style trailers. I've seen them chock some but not all..........

Not surprising. But I have noticed that newish 5r's seem to have much lighter weight jacks than older. None would hold up to this abuse tho, something had to give. I guarantee that it was dragged with the legs down.

If they are going good for it that tells me they messed up and either dragged them or dropped the unit. Check inside where they mount and make sure there is no other damage..!

Maybe I should check my insurance company to see if they turned in another claim without telling me, they all ready have 6500.00 of the previous claim money waiting repairs.

I would have to agree with Dave, I have seen how they move them around and where not paying any attention. Once the legs are down they just hook-up with a tractor at my dealer and then he just barely picks it up to move them. ......

They use a fork truck at my dealer with a fifth wheel hitch on the forks, the just hook it up and lift and move them around, as I have never seen them retract the legs at all!!!
