Got an offline date and VIN# !!!

Today I Got word from my dealer, RVW, that our Sabre has been started (must have a frame pulled for it as we got a vin#) and then an email a minute later with an estimate completion and off line date of April 9! WooHoo! That's about 7 weeks from time of order. Dealer says they'll get it to their location quickly so we can pick it up just days after that if we'd like.
Happy Campin!!!

Yup, just last week I emailed my dealer, explaining my situation... Selling our home, closing on that Thursday or Friday of Easter weekend. Renting a house (happens to be from the folks who are buying our house) can't move into that until they move into ours so we'll officially be homeless for about 5 days. The house we are buying- will close on that purchase late April but renting back to current owners (a good friend of mine) for about a year or so. So renting until next spring. Had I not wrecked our camper, I had DW convinced we could live in it this whole season....

Oh well, it'll all come together and be a distant memory 2 years from now...

Happy Campin!!

Question for those of you that have ordered. Dealer says I can schedule to pick up as early as April 11 ! Is it feasible for them to get our fiver hauled from Goshen to Lakeview, OH, prepped and ready in two days after it scheduled off line date? They're telling me so, but I'm concerned about them not doing a decent prep job, and/or me driving 800 miles and not having it ready.
Thanks for any input

Nice. That is great confirmation. It will be built in no time now. I wish you a speedy delivery from factory to dealer.

Vin.

It might be possible.
On our puma, it was offline on a Thursday i believe, and our dealer had already sent a driver up. So he hauled back over the weekend and it was at the dealer monday morning. They prepped it and we picked up on tuesday. This was in July 2012
On our Sabre, the rep called me on a monday morning after he had walked thru our trailer. It was supposed to have left before noon that day, it was a factory sent driver. It didn't show up till Friday at our dealer (same dealer both times ). They said they could rush and do a propane leak test so i could get Saturday, but we ended up picking up the following wednesday. That was last may, and it was over memorial day weekend. So that slowed it down some.
But we are about 900-1000 miles from Goshen, so it should be a much shorter transport for your dealer!
Good luck!
