The new ones are coming with a handrail. I'd contact Gary Grigsby at Sabre to see if he has any recommendations for what's in the wall and where for support.

When I contacted Flagstaff, I was told it couldn't be added, but I found the alum studs and went ahead and installed it. Now even Flagstaff is adding them. Go figure.

P.S. you can find the studs early in the morning when the dew is heavy by looking at the side of the camper.
