Help

We are out on our "real" maiden voyage (a week in the mountains) the electric for our fridge as well as the plug next to the fridge will not work, we are trying to find a breaker or GFI to reset, but are not having any luck. We've flipped the breakers in the breaker panel and still nothing. Any suggestions???

Thank you,

Open the fridge outside cover and see if there's a gfci there? Did you check breakers for sure?

I was told by an RV tech the other day that they sometimes install a GFI in the basement also.

We have an upper and lower outside compartment for the fridge, we checked the lower and there is an outlet but not GFI, we also checked the basement and don't see a GFI outlet there either. We've also verified the GFI breaker is on and not tripped.

Is anything else not working? Is fridge working on gas? Could be a blown fuse. Pull the fuse and check it carefully, it is easy to miss that it's blown.

One plug next to the fridge and the fridge switching to electric appear to be the only things not working. Fridge works fine on gas.
