How high is the Fifth Wheel Hitch

I was hoping someone can tell me how far up from the bed of the truck it is to the top of the plate of the 5th wheel hitch. I'm having my hitch installed next week on my GMC 2500 HD and would like to have it adjusted for height as we won't be getting our trailer till April and don't want to be pulling bolts to lower or raise it while at the dealership.
Our trailer is a 365 RL with the tri-glide pin box.

Far to many variables to answer this with any accuracy IMO.
Why not just have the dealer move it for you?

Hopefully someone with a Columbus 365RL would be able to give you the measurement of the king pin plate to the ground when level. You'd want to ideally set your hitch in the truck about 2" higher than that to allow for compression of the suspension.

Sorry this is such a delayed response, but just happened to stumble across it.

As mentioned previously it is hard to give you a really good measurement as there are A LOT of variables.

We actually just installed a trailair tri glide hitch on my father 365 Columbus last night! I can tell you that with it mounted as high as it will go in the neck of the trailer and the king pin plate pushed up to the level the shock says on the front he is roughly 52" when leveled.

This was measured on the street in front of my house, the street is pretty close to being level.

Hope this was in time for you!

Dealer will adjust to correct if they are any good. Only about 20 min to get it done and the have all the totals and manpower to do it.
