This is our 6th RV {tent trailer, travel trailer, travel trailer, motorhome (found out we're 'trailer people' so sold it), travel trailer, and now a 5th wheel}, but first 5th wheel.
Looks like a real active forum...
you will love your bhok-6 !

We like the 'larger' seats much better than the round ones. They are alot more comfortable.

Western Trailer and Marine in Havre called yesterday... they have our trailer on the lot. Just in time for a Victoria Day weekend road trip to pick it up. Our first Forest River product...

...now.. anybody got a "honey I shrunk the kids" raygun so I can fit all of the contents out of the old trailer into the truck to take with us to Montana? Oh well - it's a great opportunity to purge, I guess.

Congrats NeilM108! Nothing like getting 'the call' from your dealer. Have a great time picking it up.

Picked it up

We double-checked with the dealer before we left Calgary to ensure that everything was ready to go and there were no last minute snags.

Unfortunately, there were a few snags:
1) dump valve handle for #3 Grey was missing;
2) water would not drain out of shower - hepvo valve wouldn't work;
3) slide on bedroom would not close without two people pulling on it;
4) light fixture over the galley table is cracked;
5) scratches on upgraded laminate - sink cover;
6) slam door opening - driver's side is considerably larger than the door - dealer had to shim up the latch plates to get it to latch;
7) Galley drawer doesn't close correctly
8) USB port on the Concertone Genesis doesn't work - won't charge anything.

and, by the time we got to our destination:
9) I was missing THREE dump valve handles, including the one the dealer re-installed in #1, above (of course, I didn't know this until it was time to dump...)

And, while I'd like to take it back to the dealer, he's a 12 hour drive away...

But, we're set up.. I'm sure we'll get this all figured out.

It will get better!
I used lock tite on my handles they loosened and fell off as well.

Bedroom slide issue was similar there was carpet caught up in the slide mechanism.

Hello forum,
Last night I joined the Palomino family by taking delivery of a '13 34TBOK. Traded my '08 Salem LA 336QBDS.
Wonderful features!!! Can hardly wait for the shakedown campout this coming weekend...but it's a 30amp COE so I won't be utilizing the duel air units.

Welcome and congrats on your 34REQS-6 from a fellow Wisconsinite. What dealer did you buy yours from? We ordered ours from Freedom RV in Slinger. Traded in our '08 Jayco TT that we also purchased from them. Hope you enjoy your new Sabre as much as we do. Where are you headed for the maiden voyage?

Hi Wiscampsin. I am buying it from Wagners in Cleveland. It's the same one advertised right now on their site. I did check with Freedom RV and the price was right for the Sabre however they were not giving me enough for my Sydney.
We will be camping for three or four days starting on fathers day or the day after at Harbour Village in Carlsville. I have a few friends and relatives that will be there as well. My next camp after that will be June 27th thru July 8th. I should get all the little kinks out by then and settle in.
I will pick it up next Saturday which is as soon as I am able to get down there.
I have followed some of your posts and understand you ordered yours because you prefer the better windows. I was told I could order one but it would take 8 weeks to get it. If I ordered it would be a 2013 whereas this one is a 2012. This one had everything I wanted anyways.
I really think the paint and graphics on them look better than most out there right now. I mostly wanted big windows and for them to be on the door side.
Well sorry for the long post and congrats on your new rig too!

We just got word that we pick up our new 34reqs on Saturday June 23rd. Cutting it closer then we wanted to, our first outing is June 28th to July 5th. We have to do some modifications to accommodate out parrot. So I hope we have time to do it all. Very excited.
