How Many Puma owners out there on this forum?

Just bought a 2022 Puma 38' and can't wait to use it come April. Until I found this forum, I was having trouble finding answers concerning the galley tank but people here have been extremely helpful.

Welcome aboard. You'll see that in some sections of the country there are few Pumas and in other parts quite a few. It is always nice to pass another Puma on the road or pull into a campsite and see a couple of other Pumas. I am sure your 38' 2022 is a whole other beast than my 26' 2008, but we do have common ancestry! Best wishes come April.

Wow, I just logged back onto here, and what I started in 2007, has really blossomed! We still own our 2008 26rlss. We have made several mods on it: DH revamped the entertainment area. Made a small horizontal door for the DVD player. Put a small flat screen on top, and opened up the area in the back (into the bedroom). Several years ago, we had a blow out (thank you to the tire dealer that put on tires not recommended travel speeds over 55 mph....WHAT??? -- and neglected to tell us). 4 out of the 5 tires we bought bulged, strips of rubber came off, and one blew. It was under the couch. It ripped through the floor, so we replaced the entire flooring. Changed to luxury vinyl planking through the trailer. He also added two flip up counter extenders. One at the end of the cupboard over the 3 drawers, and one extending toward the back of the trailer. Gives me more counter space. He has added countless shelves in the pantry, and is thinking about added a cupboard just right of the medicine chest in the bathroom for smaller towels. The cupboard over the TV is very high to this vertically challenged old gal! That's where the towels are kept. Glad Puma is still loved and growing!!!

Nice to "meet" another 26RLSS owner, especially of the same vintage as ours. Like you we have upgraded some things: wood drawer fronts on all drawers, new furniture (new sofa bed pulls out facing the kitchen and is actually comfortable; no jackknife "crack" down the middle), new microwave, had RV ARMOR reseal our roof, new hot water heater, memory foam mattress, etc.). I spent the COVID shutdown applying Rustoleum rust preventative paint to the metal under carriage, steps, bumper, and tongue with POR15 treatment on axles and springs instead. Needless to say, like you we are in this for the long haul. We love the size and especially the single super slide. We pull with a 2020 Ford F-150 now (3.5 Eco boost and max tow package). We head out from Florida to California this summer to spend a month with our son and his family near Escondido.

Have a great trip! We recently looked into "upgrading", but found that the "upgraded" trailers are of equal or lesser quality than what we bought 14 years ago! We are sticking with ours, love the mods, love the plan, love the "openness" of the trailer. We started out with the sofa bed, DD sleeps on it, and we have added a memory foam to it, and she doesn't mind the bar in her back as bad. Our entry level mattress is still going strong as we also added memory foam to that first trip out. Love to see those other puma 26rlss rolling down the road as we pass! They are fewer and farther between now though! We will stick together!

Personally we have had 2 Pumas. Both were fifth wheel. A 2009 259BHSS and the second one was 2016 295BHSSOK .The second one we modified the rearr bedroom to be a room with a Double bed. Love that camper. We had roof damage from not getting the roof checked or sealed. It was never explained that the roof needs checked every 2 years or so. They changed the floor plans and never found one we liked. Have an Arctic Wolf 291RL now.

Just purchased a slightly used 2021 Puma 28RKQS. It's set up on a permanent campground spot on Norris Lake, TN, so it's hooked up to shore power and city water. We haven't used it yet as it's still winterized but the warmer temps getting closer we need to go down to dewinterize and get it ready to sleep in. Can't wait! This is our first camper so I'm sure I'll have a ton of question.

We just bought a slightly used 30RKQS. Looking forward to use it on some long trips and as a "vacation" home. Currently waiting on a bigger truck so it can pull it easily.

Hello. My husband and I finally after many dealerships, hundreds of different makes and models of travel trailers, months of research.* We landed a good deal on a brand new Palomino Puma 18SSX . We are a married couple with no children, we live in Pennsylvania . Has anyone ever had or has a Puma 18SSX? We are picking up our RV soon* from the dealership. So excited thank you

Wife and I purchased a 2021 Puma XLE Lite 22FKC in April of 2021. We love the layout of the unit. We did have a few minor issues that were covered under warranty. Our MAJOR issue is that we just got it back from the dealer after they replaced the entire roof. Problem is that the roof looks worse now than when we carried it in! Just getting ready to start haggling with the dealer. I pray we don't end up crying because we purchased this unit. This is our third camper, first one with this type of roof. Crossong my fingers that it's fixed.

Not able to discern the nature of the roof problem, but I just had my 2008 Puma 26RLSS rubber roof "renewed" and resealed by RV Armour with a lifetime transferable warrantee. This is what my new roof looks like. Feel free to use as comparison if you desire. The RV-Armour tech spent a solid week going over my roof, replacing one piece of plywood, all vent and other topside unit's seals, replaced skylight and gutters, and sealed front and back caps very thoroughly.

We have a 2011 Puma Unleashed 298FQU fifth wheel toy hauler. Love it and still using it. Much better build quality than the new ones and at only 30ft much easier to maneuver.

We just purchased a new 2023 Puma 265RDS. Just waiting on the B&W Companion hitch for the F250 to take delivery. We've owned a couple travel trailers, couple Class-C's, and a couple gooseneck LQ horse trailers. Looking forward to the 5th Wheel life!
