How to remove couch?
We bought recliners to replace the hide a bed couch in our 35QSIK, just curious how much of a job it's going to be to get the couch out, is it secured to the camper or is it just a matter of moving it out? Thank you for your help!

My couch isn't fastened down and can be moved, but I'm not sure about getting it out the door. I did replace our swivel rockers with a new taller swivel rocker recliner and got them in the door.

Remove the cushions and open the bed look down on the floor next to the wall, you should see screws in the floor on the bottom edge of the sofa, remove the screws and the slid the sofa out.
The screws that are used are not Philip head screws, they are square head security screws, I think it is a #6 size.

I'm not sure about the new ones, but old hide-a-beds used to have such strong springs that they would pop open when you tried to move them. The worst part was that it was dangerous...if your finger was anywhere near the mechanism, you could get it cut off. Before you move your hide-a-bed, take a strap or a piece of rope and tie it closed so that it can't pop open while you are wrestling with the couch.
