No need to get excited, it was probably from a pin that wasn't engaged into the leg all the way. Has nothing to do with poor prep or shoddy workmanship, it was most likely human error. Sounds like the dealer is working on it.

Did you try retracing your route to see if it is along the side of the road?

I just want to thank everyone for their help let you all know the parts are on order they will be shipped out Monday from Lippert they were very nice to deal with I'm going to try and show you a picture of what I need

The dealer could just borrow from another unit until they get a new one. The pin on my landing gear needs some lube once and while. It probably was just sticking. Have a good look and make sure propane hoses, under trailer corplast etc. Is not damaged. that is a pretty big projectile to fall off.

I was rounding a corner on I-95 in Bridgeport CT and narrowly missed a tractor trailer front stabilizer leg laying in the middle of the highway! That....would do some damage.

Yelling never gets you anywhere with the dealer and manufacturer. You will always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

To the OP I'm glad they are ordering one for you.
