Have the dealer next day one from lippert.
Is it front, back or middle?

I'm surprised you were able to operate it during PDI and it didn't tear something up in the process of coming off. Can't imagine the 4-6 bolts coming undone and being drug down the road by the hoses until they gave way.

I assumed it was just the inner, not the whole unit?

If I pull the pin on any of the middle or rears it'll fall out unless there is a block under it.

Good point TURBS! When I read the OP I thought he was talking about the whole assembly and like Aquaman I could not see how that could possibly happen.

The 6 point electrics look exactly like the normal front landing gear on a 5th wheel just half as long.

So it is possible for a leg to fall out, however the pin would have to be tight in the holder and so tight it would stay pulled.

I see now. I wasn't thinking about the electric 6 point at all. I was thinking a complete hydraulic ram. THAT would have made a mess!

A tight snap pin (holding open) is certainly a possibility.
While mine are not six point electrics, both of my front jack pins do not easily snap back into position without some force. Something I need to work on.

New trailer and this happened on the way home? Call the dealer and don't accept "can't get the parts" or "you'll have to wait weeks." This is a likely sign of poor prep for delivery or shoddy workmanship and in a new rig, and even a used one, is absolutely covered by warrantee or at least the dealer's reputation. If they give you a hard time and aren't willing to budge...start yelling.
