Ok, I'm looking for ideas . Floor plans , product improvement , options, must haves, and overall brain storming. Great changes can come from the smallest of ideas, so send em my way.

for the 340RK, take the counter extension, that separates the kitchen from the living room and replace it with a movable island, like the one in the 320RS.

Added led lights under the bunk in the garage for better lighting when we eat at the dinnette. Kids have fun with them also doing a disco light show

Columbus 320rs.
Add a second slideout on the bedroom. Maybe a weight issue?

Change LED light vendors.
Instead of lasting years we've already had over a half dozen LED arrays fail since buying out unit at the end of August. They either start blinking or become dim and than fail. We have a high-end surge suppressor on the unit and never have any indications of problems that would damage the unit.

The plank flooring is to fragile.

Change from three steps to four step entry.

Love the constant improvements you are always providing as an example I feel lucky to have the conduit from the basement to the roof. It's been super helpful.

Love our unit and it's a challenge to make suggestions.

Thanks

Upgrades

I don't think you guys need any help. You started out with the 320RS and it is very well planned out. Then you keep making changes to make it even better. I love ours and so does everyone that sees it. I like going and looking at new campers, and everyone we go into is twice the money and we always say the same thing. I like ours better. I see Hartland now has the Gateway. I think when your competition copies what you are already doing, you must be doing it right. I think it's great that you care enough to ask people what they want. Thank You.
Happy camper

I sent a pm in regards to the 385BH since that's what we have. Already building some great campers but there's always room for a few tweaks.

I haven't actually taken delivery of mine yet, but, I know the TV's are listed as being very modern & high quality Smart LED's. So why not an Apple TV & WiFi range booster built in? I want to talk my boss into allowing me to work remotely a few weeks a year, and to do so, I'll need connectivity.

Also I'm truly amazed that power hookups are raw, and the units do not come with factory surge suppression, error detection & even optional brownout protection. With all of the expensive electronics people have now, these really are not options, but are required. I'll be installing something in my before I ever use it. One of the other brands does come standard with something like the Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C, but he did not know it until he read his manual(and this is why I'd previously asked about manuals) .

X2

Also put the entertainment center against the street side wall so you don't have to look at the TV sideways when sitting in the recliners.

Yes it would as I'm looking to purchase one now and I'm worried about having an outside unit stolen or having an inside one installed. I hate having someone mess with electronics when nothing's broken. And god knows what the install fee will be.
One thing I've found myself wishing with mine is a single latch on the outside hatches with hydraulic arms. I'm always having to put something down to use two hands to open any compartment.
I kind of wish they would stop making so many standard improvements in the middle of the year though. My less than 3 month old 2013 model seems lacking already considering all the new upgrades. I'm a little jealous and I'm sure I'm not the only one wishing they had waited a couple of months.

Create a larger space where the receiver is so that you can put other devices. Such as gaming systems. Currently I have to lay it on the floor and kids don't always look where they are stepping. Even though your out camping, the kids still want to play their games.

On the 295RL, I would love to see the sink moved over to the wall (like in the 320RS) and have the island as counter space.

How do you make anything better that is already GREAT! I'm sure there is many options, but that only brings up the cost and makes it harder for people to afford an already awesome product. Keep up the good work and make the options up to the ones that want them.

I would suggest using the quieter air conditioners with the return air vents on each side of the ceiling. We are starting to look for our fourth and probably last 5th., wheel, and the quiet A/C is a must. Cedar Creek is at the top of our list so far. I think Prime Time uses them. Keystone Alpine has them. A hardwired electrical management system/surge protection would also be a plus.

Build the 32 RS on the beefier frame of the 36 and I'll buy one. The storage under the coach is lacking on such a long trailer. Other than that love it.

Move the tv to where the couch is and put a smaller couch where the TV was call it a 345 .Built in 50amp surge protecter would be a plus on all coachs.

I read too many reports, stories, etc. of people having bad experiences at their PDI or shortly thereafter on Columbus RVs. During early 2012, only very select dealers were allowed to carry the brand. Then about 6 months later, the dealer network was greatly expanded and the horror stories of bad dealer experiences get posted all over on FRF.

Clean up your dealer network!!!!

Do follow up stories to how people with problems were taken care of and now they are happy.

To constantly read how it takes months to get an new RV fixed is unacceptable. It seems like this is the norm in the RV industry. Old people are used to waiting to get things. The next generation wants things NOW. If they have to wait, you just lost a customer.

Remember, Columbus is a luxury brand. Buyers have high expectations. Figure it out or this brand will die as fast as it was born.
