Installing skid wheels

I just received some Ultra Fab skid wheels I ordered. I need to install on my 34' sabre. Was curious if anyone has any experience installing? Did you weld or simply bolt onto the frame. And where did you mount the skid wheels? I was thinking on the metal frame that connects the main frame to the bumper.

The only time I installed them, I put a strings under the rear tires and stretched them taut to the low point at the rear and mounted the wheels to the frame on a plate so the wheels extended 3/8"-1/2" BELOW the strings.

OldCoot,
Did you weld or bolt on? I don't think mine will be carrying a heavy load as they are mainly to help with the slope on my driveway.

Thanks.

I welded plates on that had the wheel mounting bolt pattern in them and used gr 8 3/8" hardware that was abundantly available at the time.
