Hello has anybody insulated the front cap on the 34 reqs, if yes what did you use, I am in the uk and getting water in the cap no leaks anywhere we think it is condensation , Thanks Tracy

The other option would be damp rid or a dehumidifier. Condensation in the air will always go to the coolest part of the room aka your windows and thinly insulated end cap.

Adding insulation is always good but you need to observe your relative humidity and keep it at a manageable level, if the added insulation starts collecting water it may make matters worse. The difficulty is applying a proper vapor barrier to prevent moisture from getting into the insulation. FYI., the insulation should be applied on the cold side. IMO, taking showers and cooking with the vents closed and sealed and having a dehumidifier deal with the moisture is much more efficient than letting cold air in that causes condensation, don't worry about suffocating no RV is airtight. We live in our trailer where the temperature drops to -40C and trust me you don't want any window or vent open, not even a hair.

Before you go insulating it, make absolutely sure that it's not a leak. There is a long thread here about water behind the cap of fifth wheels. I believe it was about a Sierra to begin with, but it evolved to several other, as well as ours.

I used eternabond to seal the entire top seam between the cap and roof, and then used Lexel to seal the side seam between the siding and cap. I have not had any water in the cap since.
