You mean I would have to pick up someone's dead one? Nah, they're worthless in NC anyway. Same with styrofoam coffee cups. Maybe Turb's will just give me a dime and take two empties? Now, that would be a phrog phriend!

I installed these on my 320. The brackets were installed at the factory however the rear mounts were in place for the scissor jacks and I have the 4 way auto level so they would not work. I had to drill the frame rail and bolt in the mounts from the kit. I can assure you that even without the mounts from the factory this install would not take 6 hours. My 4 year old could mount these with me giving him directions in less than 4 hours.

A competent monkey with a drill, C-clamp, and 9/16" wrench could do it in 2.5 hrs.

Interesting discussion on the X Chocks. This is the first time I have used them and they were recommended by the dealer (I did not buy them from him). I have not seen any other discussions on them but you have my curiosity peaked, I dont think I have enough pressure applied to force the axles apart. Maybe a good question to post to Christopher Columbus. I do like them and they stability they provided though. I noticed today that there are about 20% of the rigs in the park I am in now have them installed.
As far as installing the JT's, the 6 hrs is what the dealer was telling me. He only charged me 1 hr. He said they were a real pain in the butt. Mine is a 2013 Columbus FW 3020RS and none of the brackets were installed. I had 2 braces on each front leg and one brace on each back electric jack installed. I dont see them being that labor intensive to install.

It depends of course on how good a job one wants to do.
If you just use self-tapping screws to attach the mounts, then you could probably do it pretty quick. But I wanted to bolt mine, so had to remove the basement tubs to gain access to the main frame for the front landing gear supports for the front-to-back arms, and fabricate a mounting place for the side-to-side arms, as there is nothing but tin to attach to otherwise.
And I like to take my time and do a job that I am proud of.

I agree with doing it the correct way. Self taping screws would not hold up. Mine are bolted on at all locations. I do beleive the dealer had to remove the tubs as well (not sure) as everything I had in the front had been taken out and put back in. I also stressed to him that I wanted to be able to drop the underbelly in the future (if needed) and I did not want the mounts to be in the way or would require removal.

Our dealer's service tech said it took him a little less than 2 hours to install them on our Sabre. The competent monkey read him the instructions .

I dont have the six way. I only have the front and rear jacks. I would think you would level the unit first. Ensure the strongams are not tightend down with the tee bar (make sure they slide freely) when leveling and extending jacks. Once the unit is leveled and your jacks are down, tighten the tee bar on all of the strongarms and extend the jacks about 1/4" to 1/2" inch. This tightens them further and applies a little pressure. Do not over extend them once the tee bar has been set. When you are ready to break camp, loosen each tee bar before you raise the jacks and tighten them once they are in the stowed position for travel.
With the 6 way and the strongarms, you should be set.

I don't have the auto leveling system at all - but, here's what I think:
1) Auto level the system
2) Hand tighten the JT Strongarms
I'd try to see how stable this makes things. If it's not what you're after:
3) Using the manual override, bump the system higher/lower in the front or back (just a small bump)

Well tomorrow is the day I install my own JT Strong Arms on my Sabre. I've organized all the little parts and got my tools already...which means, maybe it will only take 4 trips to the home center instead of the usual 8-10....Wish me luck!
btw. I spoke with a JT Strong Arm factory guy today just to clarify a few pre-installation questions and he told me they are hoping to get to the F.R.O.G ralley in Goshen in Aug.

It took about 3 hrs to install the front 2 pairs and about another 1.5 hrs to figure out that I can't install the rear pair as is due to the geometry of the electric real stabilizers. I guess this is why Sabre only provides the front pair with their option. But the camper is now rock solid even with just the fronts installed
JT Strong Arms does provide an adapter bracket kit for such instalations but Tweety's didn't know about it so I'm waiting for a calll back with a price.

Installed a front set on our unit in about ninty minutes. Of course the holes were already in the frame for me so I cut that drill time. Took some time to drill the enlarged holes in the legs and I had to raise the battery box a couple of inches. They do make a diffrence.
