JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers

Finished installing the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers on our Columbus 320rs and it's made a big difference even when the washer and dryer are operating.
Easy to install and a great value.
I'll need to see how they work after a number of trips raising and lowering the stablilizing jacks to make a final recommendation.

I'm looking at buying a 320rs and it looks like the mounting brackets are already installed.
Did you have to install the brackets or are they a standard feature?

Did u install 3 sets. (2 in front; 1 in rear?). Was it hard to get to bare metal of the frame or did you have to drill through the wrap around plastic body molding.

I konw. A lot of questions. But I was just looking at these yetserday.

Make your own brackets and adapt these:S Line Ratcheting Pickup or SUV Bar 60in. - 72in. Adjustment | Cargo Bars| Northern Tool + Equipment. I would use 2 in back and 2 in front.

The JT system is to give you side to side stabilization.
The level up is just to level the unit
Not overkill to have both. I would have both

Yes, what made the job so easy was the preinstallation of the brackets. If our salesman had told us about the system we would have ordered it with the unit, but as it was it was an easy job. There are four struts at the front and two struts at the rear.

Actually you do need to drill the front lift holes to a larger diameter 1/2 inch.
Enlarge one set of holes on each leg one hole up from foot.

The brackets come with the kit and instructions for measuring there placement is also included. Very good instruction manual with illustrations.
I paid about $320.00 for the entire setup but threw away the brackets since mine
were already installed.

The front stabilizers have two on each one of the front landing legs. The rear has just one on each landing gear legs.

On the front, they are coupled together at the base of the foot and extend up to the frame and yes it clears the battery box. The rears are the same way, bolted at the base and extend to the rear up to the frame. This set up is very nice with the six point system. The unit is really firm and im not going to use my pin box tri pod anymore.
