Talking Just ordered our new Columbus F325RL today!!!

We managed to hammer out a deal with the dealer for our new Columbus 325RL. We are getting the theatre seating, sleeper sofa, low profile bedroom air, 6-way auto level system, strong arm stabilizer package, slide toppers, trail-air tri-glide air ride, electric fireplace, stacking washer/dryer, 32" bedroom TV, kitchen fantastic fan, bike rack, and the serta trump mattress. We loaded it with everything we want and asked for an early April pick-up. We went with the brown/cream exterior and the seville interior. Our unit has the outside kitchen.

Can't wait!!!!!

Thank you to all in this forum for the information I gathered reading copious amounts of posts about the Columbus brand of 5th wheels.

Congrats and enjoy next April. It's gonna be a LONG winter for you.
Remember to do 1 or 2 nites camping VERY close to your dealer and try out EVERYTHING. You may need to go back and have things fixed. Being close to dealer is real handy then. Some dealers have full hookup at their facility out in the parking lot. But it sucks with all the bright lights and road traffic.

Remember to watch that roof also when you pull in for gas, food, bathroom break. Your brain will be spinning thinking of other things. Those rest stops on the highway - use them and pull in on the semi-trailer side. The big boys get to wishing they were towing a sweet RV for vacation, instead of what's behind them.

Enjoy your Columbus. You have way more discipline and patience than I. Two months of waiting for our MH had me up the walls.
Must be great being an adult.

Oh Alan JS I can assure you I am no more an adult than you! I am already going crazy and it was just yesterday that we purchased! However, yesterday was also the last day we were able to be at our storage facility. All storage facilities in my town were closed "town laws" apparently. So there are at least 100 people with some sort of RV looking for storage in my area. Therefore it was very timely to be temporarily trailer-less. Also, with where I live, unless we plan a trip far south of us, it is too cold to camp for our liking. I am hoping for another winter of little snow like last winter.
I hope I am not saying something that is banned on this forum, but I have read online that men think of 's3x' every 7 seconds or so (sub-consciously I hope!), well I am that obsessed about my new RV I am waiting for. I think of it constantly. IT IS GOING TO BE A VERY LONG 8 MONTHS!!! lol

@ Karl & Jackie: How do I find out about these "FROG rallies" I assume that stands for Forest River Owners Group? What happens at these? I have heard of rallies but have never looked into it. But seeing we are looking to retire early next September it is something I would like to know more about.
