Landing gear

Very seldom will you be on level ground or concrete so really you should not worry about it. Even if you are on a concrete pad there is a very good chance that the concrete from where the axles are set to where the landing gear goes down will not be the same. What you are trying to do when you put down the landing gear is to have each bottom plate hit a solid supporting surface at the same time. This is accomplished by pulling the pin out of each leg and letting them hit the ground( wood pad). Now lift up each pad untill the pin goes into a hole. Lower your landing gear until the longest leg hits bottom (the ground, a board ). The other leg should be shimmed until the the gap is filled. I carry with me 6 pcs of 1/4" plwood 12"x12". Does the trick ever time.
