Looking at buying this large Fiver! Any feedback?

We have a Vibe right now and are wanting something more home like. What do you all think of the Columbus line? We are looking to buy this unit.

I like the Columbus line. We were looking at a Franklin model at one time but we got such a good deal on the Cardinal we couldn't pass it up.

I love these midship bunkhouses. But- pay attention to closet/drawer space in the bunk room. They didn't have nearly enough for us. And there was nowhere to actually hang clothes.

You have to put a slide out to get to the fridge. Could be a hassle (or not) on longer trips on the highway.

For me, a 1/2-bath and outdoor kitchen are must haves. I haven't found a mid-bunk model that has them yet.

We have a Columbus as well. Like Turbs, we've only spent 2 weekends in it so far. Took delivery in October. We initially looked at the 377MB. Like the floor plan overall but thought the bunk room was on the small side and it didn't have an outdoor kitchen which was something we really wanted. We ended up with the 385BH. Much larger bunk room, 1/2 bath in the back and outdoor kitchen.

Good luck!!

We found that the lower model hemisphere had the outside kitchen as an option. Haven't found one with a 1/2 bath yet though.

Nice. That's the first that I have seen with an OK.

How big is the biggest you th ink you can handle? I have a 42.5 footer, and it's about at the limit for me to pull. Hard to maneuver, etc.
That said, It has all the amenities I want. For example, it has two full baths and two full bedrooms, plus an outside kitchen.
It's a Forest River Wildwood 356 QBQ.

Purchased our 2016 Columbus 320RS in August. Like all new RVs, there were some headaches to deal with initially. Traveling to Stone Mountain, GA for the Winter also had some issues with the full size fridge due to design issues. All have been or being addressed under warranty. We love our trailer and all the amenities. I would recommend the Columbus line to any and all looking for a great RV to move into.

The Columbus is about the most home-like line of fifth wheels made. Hard to go wrong with all the extra touches in these babies. They do several things in building their units that no one else does - it makes them better, stronger, longer lasting, more comfy and better resale value.

Just be sure to get the right floor plan. And have a big enough truck to pull it!!

Is the TX location near where you live? I ask because I used to sell this line and still have an excellent contact in the business.

Whatever, it is hard to go wrong with the Columbus. Have fun above all else!!

Is it a contact most of us already don't have?

Looked at that floor plan in the Columbus and Montana. Did not ever see the need to sleep 8/10 with just the 2 of us and a small dog. So looked harder and found extremely close on a smaller version in the form of a Cougar 303rls. Those that sleep more did not have much additional usable space other than the den under the loft. Where was that plan 30 years ago when my daughters and their friends were always with us?

I don't think I'll find a Fiver too large for my truck (within reason) and I'm comfortable pulling just about anything.

We have the Columbus 320RS. My wife & I often have our 3 grandkids along with us & we have plenty of room for all. Have had only a few minor problems. Very pleased with our choice & would get another Columbus.

Did all of you with a 320 find the hidden electrical outlet for the closet side of the bed?
Or better yet the secret storage on either side of the bed?

I showed the wife that layout.

She's in love with it.
She would really like the 3yr old to be closer than complete opposite ends of the camper.

It kinda sucks being up in the middle of nowhere..

Our only options for large fifth, was a flagstaff, and the sabre.
