Thanks for all the responses. I noticed that a lot of you are pulling with 3/4 tons. How do they handle the Sabre's. Like I had in the original post I have a 06 Chevy duramax CC/SB 4X4,air bags, the gentlem that had it before me had the bags installed and he left the rails in the bed. Picked up a slider last summer, got E rated tires. Everyone says I will be okay. What are your thoughts. Again thanks
Going to KC to show this weekend.

we too have the 31rets6, and could not be happier. you dont say where you are from, but you might want the second a/c unit. we listened to the dealer saying it wouldnt be necessary. he was wrong also, be sure to close all cabinet doors when bring slides in. the door is not mightier than the slide. dont ask how i know, i just do

X2 on what dwaynerz said...if you are in hot country, the second ac is a must. And yep, you wanna make sure them cabinet doors are closed before you bring the slides in...

As far as towing with a 3/4 ton, mine handles just fine, though I think mine is a little lighter that what you are looking at. Just be sure to check your weights (what you can) and stay within the ratings of your tow vehicle.

X2 on checking your weights. When I pull out the driveway for a 10 day vacation, I'm 58 pounds over GVWR 9200 LBS. If you add a second air, that will add about 80 to 100 pounds to the hitch weight. Just fyi.

31rets-6

We've had ours for three seasons and about 16,000 miles, including a trip to Alaska. After getting all the minor bugs out the first year, it's been doing great. I wish mine was wired for the 2nd AC also. All that glass in the slides warms it up quite a bit. I pull with a one ton Ford, no issues.
