My latest simple mod

We like a window open in the bedroom but besides the emergency window the only ones we have are right next to our heads and we don't like to sleep with the air right next to us. I did the following mod that allows me to open the emergency window to a few different openings depending on how much air we want. I am sure there are other ways to implement this if one does not want to put the pin receptacle into the dresser, we didn't mind. I also like the idea that it does not really impede the use of the emergency part of the window. I thought about a pin on a piece of wire attached to the window but think this is a better implementation.

Just thought I would share.

Make sure

Make sure you place the pin out of the way of the shade so you can pull it all the way down.

I had the same issue in both of my campers and ended with cutting a shim that would wedge in where the metal goes thru the frame. This makes it basically infinitely adjustable for how open you want the window to open.
Worked so well on the first camper, it came with me to the next one.
