Assuming your are staying at Pirateland we like the north end of the beach. They have several pull thru sites but they don't have any shelters on the site like the back-in ones do. The 600 # are the largest sites and that is where we always camp. Look at their campground map on their website if you have not already done so. The campground should be fairly empty this time of the year and you should get your pick of sites. They put in new concrete on a few sites on the last row on the north end.
We've been to Pirateland at least 5 times. Love it! Lots to do and great beach. Love the lazy river. Lots to love at Pirateland. Wish we could be there in June with you all!!
