Need Help with Rotochoks

Can someone who has a Sabre and uses Rotochoks tell me what letter is stamped on the front of the plate that is cranked to tighten. I bought some Rotochoks from a private party that will not fit my Sabre not realizing that there are different sizes. Mine have the letter "L" stamped on the plate and I found out these are for a wheel spacing of 4" to 5". My Sabre only has about 1 1/4" spacing between the wheels.

My best advice is to give them a call. They are really great to deal with and they won't steer you wrong.

I called the 1-800-640-8996 number and get a message that it's not in service. Ependydad can you tell me what the distances across the top and bottom of one of your "P" plates are?

That makes me really sad to think they're out of business. Their website hasn't been updated since at least September 2014.

I'll get the measurements for you.

There's some variance in how to measure since the edges are curved (and I'm kind of an idiot).

This link appears to be a reseller of certain products, including rotochoks. Maybe they can help or provide more information:

rotochok

and they also had the size chart for them on their site:

I know Pearl and John personally. Keep in mind folks they are pretty much full-timers - campers just like us - and this is their little business. Business slowed for them with the competition and last I spoke to them they were pretty much doing everything Web and email. So maybe they dropped the overhead of a toll free #. Send an email. Hopefully they are wintering in the warmth!

Thanks for the measurements. I have sent an e-mail them. Now if I can figure out to take them apart maybe I can replace the plates to fit.

This still works RotoChock - The best security solution for your 2-wheel trailer

From the website: Rotochok will not be taking orders from July 18,2014 through September 2,2014. If you have previously purchased our products; or are interested in Rotochok Inc., please contact us through our site for further information.

All orders that were placed before July 18, 2014 will still be fulfilled and shipped.

It would be a shame if they went out of business. We have used them with 16" wheels and now 15" wheels. You have to measure, website directions, to order the correct size. Fortunately, if you already have a set, they are upgradable. The metal pieces fit the new black pieces that touch the tire. I tried our older ones on the smaller tires and while I could install them, they clearly were't right. The correct sized pieces are perfect.
