Need new fender skirt

Had our first blowout today (luckily our first in almost five years of camping). Unfortunately, our fender skirt did not fare too well. Any recommendations on where to possibly get a new one. I suppose I could contact FR directly but was curious if anyone had any luck going another route? We have a 2013 Sabre 34tbok.

Sorry to hear that. How is it usually handled, out of pocket or insurance?

Kash,
I'm assuming I could turn in on my insurance but I'm thinking the deductible is about as much as the part (hopefully).

Do a search on Ebay "RV Fender Skirt" and try to find the one that matches your TT. Lots of choices. May not be the right color but a little plastic spray paint solves that issue.

Do you have a picture to share of the damage?

Glad to hear that you were able to get the part.

Look at http://www.icondirect.com/categories...Fender-Skirts/ if you can't get one from FR to match. FR could not match my fender skirt for my cardinal, we'll pleased with the after market one. It was a lot thicker the the OEM.

I was able to get one through my dealer but if anything doesn't work out, I'll look at this. Thanks!

Kash76,
I don't have any pictures but the damage was minimal. Basically broke off the first third of the skirt. I probably could have used it still but I'm a bit anal at how my camper looks.

I hear you, I am pretty particular on that stuff as well. I fear something like this happening so I was curious. Thanks!

When did you get your Sabre? I have a 2013 as well, tires (china bombs) appear to be in good shape, I check them religiously! Are they the original tire? Did you have any previous tire damage (curb strike, etc) or did they just blow for no apparent reason?

I purchased my camper in June of 2012. The tire condition was fine but I had a couple of small bumps that were possibly from curb strikes (perhaps upon delivery to the dealer, not sure). I don't recall striking a curb but it's possible. Regardless, I purchased goodyears as my replacement.
