New Columbus 365RL Owner

We took delivery of our 2014 Columbus 365RL last Saturday. Options on the coach are: electric fireplace, 4 slide toppers, 6-way auto level system, washer & dryer, 32" bedroom led tv, bedroom & kitchen fantastic vent with rain sensor, 4 door stainless steel refrigerator, king bed, Serta trump mattress, JT Strong Arm stabilizers, wood plank look floor, and 2 deluxe recliners. Now the bad news. Even though we took our time on the pdi and thought we looked everything over real good we found a small tear in the wood plank look floor & a small bubble in the wallpaper. Dealer said not to worry that they will take care of the issues. My wife wonders how they will repair these 2 items. We are very happy and are heading to the ocean this weekend.

Don't worry, you will find more things wrong once you start using your new RV. It's why it has a 1 year warranty. A HUGE key to your happiness will be how well your dealer fixes things that break. The tear in the floor may be from a slide not adjusted correctly and it is getting rubbed to hard during slide in/out. Look for that. Bubble in wallpaper who knows. So far your list is very minor compared to other Columbus owners I have read about. One by one, the dealers and factory take care of the new Columbus owners and get the rigs fixed. It just takes weeks to months to do so however. This brand has become popular now since it's launch in 2012.

Columbus 365RL

FWTW, when looking at a 365 recently, it's floor had a problem. The salesman said, they had gotten a notice about the floors, from Columbus. We were impressed by what we saw, but we haven't bit the bullet, yet. However, reading the forums, have been somewhat enlightening.

I don't know how they repair the bubbles and tears, but those kind of fixes happen all the time. Tear in floor - others have reported damage from slides that need to be adjusted properly so watch that in future.

I've read several articles on the Columbus forum about Lippert brakes having bad grease seals resulting in a grease getting on the brake drums. You should check that out....
