Absolutely love the concept of the pull out bench and lock box under the bed of the SOLITUDE made by Grand Design.
I have been looking for RV's that have the outside kitchen and television that is not a bunk house. They are hard to find and when I do they are only rear kitchen models.
I will be in the market to buying a new Fifth wheel in the future. I stop looking at any floor plan that has the television and console in the kitchen area and the dining table in the living area.

I agree. This floor plan would have fit my wants perfectly, and if I had known about it I might have considered upgrading my TV to handle a 5th of that size. It would be nice to see the same concept of a mid-point bunk, rear living applied to a normal TT. You'd have to lose a few of the appointments to make it light enough, but it would be a great model for families.

One thing I haven't seen in a floorplan yet is something that can provide both a separate bunkhouse and a work space. There's some of us that have the option to work while on the road, in order to extend our camping time, but there never seems to be a good place to set up a decent work area. I had toyed with the idea of using a toy hauler and putting an office in the garage, but I couldn't find any that didn't have the kids bunks also in the garage. Oh, there were the few that had a single twin over the garage, but I'm not going to put a pair of toddlers on a bed 7 or so feet off the ground. You'd think a toy hauler might provide options to be more family friendly since they're made to haul, well, toys.

There's no use crying over spilled milk, unless it's on your keyboard.

New Floorplans You Love at Recent RV Shows

Hey Sam, I didn't go to any RV shows this year because I am still very happy with my 2010 Sabre fifth wheel and feel like I can keep this camper for a long time. But there is one floor plan that I wish Sabre would start building in their fifth wheel models that I have seen in a few other fifth wheel brands (but I can't remember any brands right now). A fifth wheel with the living room area upstairs, rear master bedroom and kitchen area in the middle. If the Sabre model would come out with this floor plan I would be at my dealership tomorrow morning preordering my New Sabre and trading in my present Sabre. Let me know if you think this floor plan could ever be a reality. I would love an upstairs living room area.

We were sold on the Silverback 33Rl. Then we went to the Detroit RV show and saw a Columbus 320 RS. My wife fell in love with this 5er and you know the saying "Happy wife, Happy life" so we will be ordering this week.

We went to the Flint, Mi MARVAC camper show about 2 weeks ago and fell head over heels in love with the Keystone Cougar 31SQB.
The rear "wraparound" bunkhouse with a wardrobe slide and it's own tv will be great for entertaining our guests.

tarpumn, this thread is in the Palomino sub-forum.
if you have a question about a Cedar Creek Cottage model, suggest you post it in the Cedar Creek sub-forum.
not many CC owners will be reading posts in the Palomino forum.
