New Palomino Columbus

Though the RV show in Greensboro was a bust, I did find something I really liked. A new line of fivers by Palomino called Columbus. They're a high profile fiver, a level above their Sabre. The Beauflor floor covers the complete living & kitchen area, except for the slides. They all have 60"X30" showers (huge). King bed options. Microwave/convection ovens and still has a gas oven/range. Upgraded cherry cabinets. A bunch of bells & whistles. A real Queen size sleeper sofa. Nice looking interiors. Good fit & finish. According to the sticker on the door, the F320-RS wieghs in at 10,500#. DW wants to look at one. Uh oh....

looked at some, just wish they offered a rear kitchen model.
the DW hates floorplans that require people to walk thru the kitchen to be able to sit down.

Yes the Greensboro show was lacking. I thought it was a poor showing for any Forest River product. Maybe next year it will be called the Camping World Show. Several dealers did not show.
We also liked the Columbus! Everything about it was nice!

There was a "pseudo" Boat & RV show in the Albany area this weekend as well, but really wasn't much of a show, as it was only one RV dealer, with the few lines that he carries (mostly Jayco, but also Rockwood). Saw only one unit that impressed us enough to be interested, a mid-size 5er (10,000 lb) by Keystone.

Since we really aren't in the market, no harm, no loss.... Looking forward to the much bigger Springfield (MA) RV Show on Presidents Day Weekend!

Was at the RV show here in Columbus, Ohio yesterday. They had the "Columbus" model, it was full everytime I went by, so I did not get to see it. The dealer said it had just come in.

I know what you mean. That along with tons of counter space is why we like our rear kitchen Sabre.

We saw the Columbus at the STL Show. Fell in love. Ordered the F320-RS. Now I sit patiently and wait!!! We went back the second day and still couldn't find something we didn't like. I climbed (literally) all over the rig. Up on kitchen cabinets, up on furniture, pulled bed out......... into the closet.... in the basement.. under the rig............ I love everything and the best thing............ everything I have in my current TT will work (color wise) in the Columbus!!!! We did put a second air and boat hit on it.

F385bh

I was thinking about pulling the trigger on an Open Range 399BHS until I just saw the Palomino Columbus F385BH online. No real details on it yet, but I think the floorplan looks awesome. Does anyone know spec's on it? Weight? MSRP or Real Retail? I am excited I didnt get the OR with this option available now! Any experience with Columbus models other than this? Well built?

From what I have found out about on the 320RS:
Hitch weight: 2080#
Dry weight: 10,600#
GVWR: 14,300#
Exterior width: 100" (8'4")
Length: 37'2"
Height: 12' 10"
Sidewalls: R 9
Ceiling & Roof: R 28
It has a heated underbelly with astro foil wrap, two layers of fiberglass and heat pads under all tanks.
Aluminum welded frame vacuum bonded.
