New Sabre 32 RCTS-6

Hi all,

We just (2 weeks ago) ordered a 2012 Sabre 32 RCTS fifth wheel after a 1 yr long selection process. See our post in the "Welcome mat" forum for more info on that!

We feel very good about our choice and were wondering if there are any other 32RCTS owners out there. Also how long did it take for you to get yours? We were told 6-8weeks.

We hope to have it in time for our first trip scheduled for he last weekend in March.

They should have a web cam in Goshen so you can see your unit being built.

Thanx

Cathy & Jeff,
That's the unit my husband and I are looking at. Please let us know how you like it. We've been looking for a while, getting ready for retirement, and this seems to be the best match for us.

Deb,
That is exactly what we are doing. We are hoping to retire in a few years & want the camper paid for before retirement. The 32RCTS had a lot of storage & looked like it would fit my husband & my needs for long trips in the winter (to get away from the snow). We are expecting it any day now & are very excited. We will definitely let you know how we like it after we have had it out a couple of times.
We did a lot of research on the internet with floor plans & decided that the Sabre was the one for us.
We also went to several RV shows & visited with "Sabre Sam". We took a list of questions for him & he was very helpful.
Happy Camping

Cathy & Jeff,
Saber Sam? Is that some type of information site for Sabre? We are just starting to get serious about this but have been casually looking for several years. This is the first unit I walked into and thought "this is it!". We plan to buy a year from now so we'll be ready for the 2013 summer. Can't wait to hear your experiences after yours arrives. Enjoy!!

Deb,

Sorry about the "Sabre Sam". Sam is a rep from the Sabre/Forest River line. He was at one of the RV shows we visited. He is on this website & hosts a forum on this site. He was very helpful & knowledgeable about Sabre's. I think he helps design them (but not real sure). Just search this forum for Sabre Sam.

Yup! I am talking about you Sabre Sam!

You were very helpful, answered all of my husbands & my questions at the Lansing show & on line. You were a big factor in our final decision to go with Sabre.

Now we are waiting (very impatiently) for our new 32RCTS. And from the sounds of it (our dealer told us) your Sabre factory is VERY busy building new Sabre's (he went to a show & sold 12 on the spot!)

Saber Sam Tour Help?

My husband and I are ready to take the tour of the factory. We'd love to do so on Tuesday morning, June 26. We are very impressed with the Sabre 32RCTS because of the layout and value. Can you arrange a tour for us? We also plan to tour the Montana plant that afternoon.

We plan to purchase later winter or early spring so that we have the summer to work out the bugs before taking off fulltiming for at least a couple of years. That's why we want to see how the units are built now to help us make the final decision. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.
