I feel your frustration and anger, but it not only at the factory that stuff like this happens.
We opted for a Washer/Dryer combo to be installed in our new Silverback FW by our dealer before we pulled it off the lot.
The combo goes in the front bedroom closet and is plumbed and wired for it.
However the installation requires a hole to be cut in the closet panel for the vent hose to be routed though. The factory puts a placard on the panel that clearly states where the hole is to cut - simple enought.
When we picked up our FW at the dealers, I checked the combo installation and discovered the dealer had cut the hole at a different place. Everything worked, but I was ticked that the dealer had neither replaced the panel ( with the hole cut where it should be) and didn't say anything about it. Here we had a brand new FW with a hole in a panel where it shouldn't be.
A replacement panel was ordered and later installed, but I couldn't understand why this simple mistake was made and why we were not told about it.
We never did get a satisfactory answer from the dealer.
