Ok, dumb QBOK question

I cant believe i'm asking this, but, after assuming that the QBOK has two black tanks (one for each bathroom) because there are two dump outlets. I was looking at the sticker on the sidewall that indicates "sewer", only at the front outlet, and the rear outlet says, "wastewater". I've read the manual, but it is so vague it doesn't specifically mention if you have the bath and a half. Could someone help clear this up for me....thanks.

ps..you can probably tell we haven't camped in it yet.

can you see the piping for all the tanks ?

if so the smaller diameter pipe is grey water and the larger diameter pipe is black water.

my bhok has two outlets for 4 tanks
only difference is I dont have a rear bathroom but the outlet pipe is still bigger .


I have a black and a grey in front and two greys in back .

According to Sam, the rear bathroom (sink and toilet) empty into the rear tank.

There are 5 tanks, in order from front to back:
- gray 1 (shower/bathroom sink)
- black 1 (forward bath toilet)
- gray 2 (galley)
- black 2 (1/2 bath toilet and sink)
- gray 3 (outside kitchen)

There are 2 sewer outlets. The front one is just about where the front of the main living room slide comes out. It handles the first three tanks (all with separate pull handles). The second sewer outlet is where the front of the bunkhouse slide comes out. It handles the last two tanks.

I personally have 2 clear elbows that go to 2 sets of hoses and then I have a wye ("Y") connector at the sewer connection for the campground.

Thanks for the explanation. We are in the process of buying all the hoses/fittings for the unit and that's what was causing my "second thoughts" about how this thing is set up. It's been probably a dozen years or so since our last camper so it's slowly coming back to me ( I remember the process of emptying). Again, I appreciate your feedback.

I did the math the other day and carry a crazy 60' of hose or something like that and worse - I actually want to get another 10'! Here's what I have in two hoses of each: 10' and 20'. I would like to get two 5' hoses. I bought them with or put the bayonet fittings so that they all just twist/click together.

I made the hose storage boxes that people have shown on here (5" vinyl post cover w/ a 5" piece of gutter inside and caps on either end). Right now they live in the back of the truck, but I plan on mounting them under the camper somewhere (possibly just forward of the front sewer outlet).

Ever thought of changing the location of your "Y" connector and reducing the amount of hose? Maybe move the "Y" to between the outlets at the camper?

Nope, never thought of it.

That would give you a nice consistent spacing between the 2 hoses and then then only variable would be 1 hose from the "Y" to the sewer hookup. Seems obvious.... now! Good thinking!

I'm just glad I wasn't overlooking something and going to have to purchase 50+ more feet of sewer hose and then find a place to store it all...

I don't have the camper with me, but approximately the distance of the main living room slide plus another two feet-ish.

Based on the 16 ft measurement I agree with this as an option. I use Rhinoflex hose and have a 15' and a 5' already. Might just buy another 15' and run the 15' out of one and the 5' out of the other, connect both at a wye connector and then to a 15' to the drain (saves me a 10' or 15' section purchase). Would keep the hose lenght to about 35' total. Looks like it is going to be some trial and deciding (not trial and error though.)

Hello,

I just got my new 36qbok 2 weeks ago and took it out for the first time last weekend. I realize it has 5 tanks and mine has 5 stickers where the T handles are but there is only 4 handles....(3 up font and 1 in the back) it looks like it is missing a handle. does that seem right?

it seems like it should have 2 handles in the back. it looks like there is even the spot left in the underbelly for it to go

I have 5 handles - one for each tank. 3 up front with about 2' of spacing between them. And 2 in the back - on either side of the dump connection; again about 1 1/2'-2' between them.

If you lower a bit of the under belly, could it be the handle fell off? Do they screw on?
