Ordered a Columbus 320RS today
I made the mistake of showing DW a Columbus 320RS at the RV show.
She liked it so much, I had to order one today.
Ordered a King bed, second AC, full vinyl floor, Roto Flex pin hitch, and other neat stuff.
What a husband goes through just to keep the little lady happy.
It's going to be a long 6 weeks.

Congratulations! We were at the RV show today in Kansas City. Just out looking to see what's new. We bought our Windjammer 3008W last May. A lot to see at the show. There was one Columbus fiver there today. Enjoy!

We are two-and-a-half weeks into our approximately six week wait.
We ordered the Beaufloor (wood plank), fireplace, theater seating, second A/C, bike rack/fold-down carrier on the back, slide toppers and six-way auto-levelers.
We too fell in love with the 320RS at the RV show, and the next week signed the dotted line.
We have loved our '06 Sandpiper and certainly wanted to stay with the Forest River brand - and this new offering totally captured our hearts.

Yours is very similar to ours. I didn't get the auto levelers, though. I'll probably regret it down the road. I did get the Trail Air hitch pin, looking forward to towing with this. The King bed was a no brainer as we are use to one at home and our 65# dog finds she likes sleeping with us.
Let me know how you like it when you pick it up!
Good Luck!!

Question on pricing. Looking to order new Palomino Columbus, dealer has MSRP listed at 60641, on sale for 45995. Would that be a good price?

That's comparable to what I've seen most places for the basic version plus the Voyager package.

Thanks for the quick response. Getting ready to order one.
Will be first 5er for us. We also saw at the Atlanta show and
fell in love right away.
We are ordering the tile look floor, 2nd a/c, king bed, bike rack,
slide toppers, and trail air tri-glide air ride pin box.
We are very excited.

I saw a Columbus going down the road the other day (southbound Hwy 59 just north of Houston). What a great looking rig. Maybe they'll have one at the show this weekend.

Did you contact the production manager or do they email when they start on
your unit? Just curious when we might hear something.
Did they say how long it takes to build once they start and then how long till
delivery?

I did contact him (he had given me his card at the STL show) I made a bit of a pest of myself before signing the line. He said once it goes "online" it takes 5 days.... So I figure 5 days for production -- 8 business days for quality assurance and transport 200 miles.... I can't wait to make it my own. I have to pick up two prints that I am having matted and somewhat framed!! Then-- I can make it mine!!! personalize it a bit!

Found out...ours came off the assembly line on Monday and is now in final QC inspection. Our sales guy says he'll hopefully have a date for us by Thursday. Problem is...we're out of town most of next week, so it may have to wait another few days. (Hoping it may be here on Tuesday before we leave town.)
