Do you know what he meant by that, what the difference is?

Wow, information like that is usually hush hush.
Hope my motors hang in there.
Me too! I think they would recall all of them if that's the issue. They are getting good marks in customer service and fell they would keep that rep. It will move them into the high end market.

Also told us they are looking at changing the slide out mechanism for the bedroom slide out because or failure issues with the motors of the current design. If they do that he said it would take the space currently being used the two drawers under the bed so those would go away. It will be interesting to see how ours will be configured since he did not know if our when the change would occur. He also said ours would be the smart tv for the main room and the bedroom if we chose the bedroom tv option. I originally chose the tv for the bedroom option but changed my mind when I saw the $760 price tag. Figured I could get my own tv for half that price. I did order the strong arm stabilizer option and the trailaire pin box. Not the airbag version, but the one with the rubber pad in it. Anybody have experience with this pin box or the strong arm stabilizer system?
I have the one with the rubber pads, and compared to the one I just got rid of it is night and day. My old pinbox used to make the truck chuck on a certain section of road and the new one cut the chucking in half. I love the way my 295 tows compared to my old one.

The Schwintek slides are, across the board, having issues. As far as I know, it has more to do with installation than the actual system.

We have everything from diesel pushers to low end hybrids with the Schwintek system, and there are some brands that have no issues, and some brands that are repetitive.

Honestly, the new actuator slide in the bedroom should prove to be less problematic in the long run. I am glad that my ordered 320 has the new system.

We have 2 on our lot, about a month old now, and both have the new actuator slide in the bedroom.

The Strongarm system is a must have for me. I added them to my current Wildcat, and ordered them on the Columbus. It certainly is the biggest improvement in the "shakes", and I had tried tripods, etc, but use the ratcheting X-chocks, and Strongarms, and it sets up nicely.

Best part for me, is that I have a 5th Airborne pinbox on the WC, and it shares the front end framing with the Columbus, so it is going right on to the Columbus when it comes in!

I posted earlier today about the bedslide change. It had nothing to do with issues. We had a chance to upgrade the system and did so.
Thanks

Stabilizers

Had a chance to go by the dealer today and saw a Columbus with the strong arm stabilizer system on it. Wow, what a great installation. I am so happy that I decided to order the trailer with the system installed. I currently have the tri pod type and have never been that satisfied with it. Takes up lots of room when stored and always seemed to be in the way when it was under the pin box at camp and the trailer still had the shakes.

The smart tv has the ability to connect to a wireless Internet so you go access Netflix and other limited Internet websites.

Who has slide out awnings?

How many of you Columbus owners out there have the slide out awnings? If you have them has it been worth the extra cost. Looks like $1200 for all three if installed during build. Also has anybody noticed that the bedroom slide out causes it to be much colder or hotter in that area compared to the rest of the trailer?
Does anybody have the dimensions of the tv box in the bedroom? I want to buy a tv before the trailer arrives so I can install and check during PDI.
Thanks for all your help!

I do not know the dimensions but I have a 32 inch TV in mine and it fits well. I don't think you could fit much bigger in the space. I'll put up a pic when my computer boots uo
