It's a 3500 actually. It does very well. We drove around the Gaspe Peninsula, with those 14% inclines, and there were no concerns. When my husband bought the truck i thought it was a bit of overkill, but was glad to have it on our east coast tour!

Looks like we have the almost exact combination. I recently bought a gently used 2014 340RK and already owned a '12 Ram 3500 dually. My Ram is dark gray with the lighter gray trim along the bottom like yours.
Very nice towing setup.
